Shield Gold is a Canadian mineral exploration company with headquarters in Toronto, Ontario and exploration facilities in Val-d’Or, Québec. Shield is a Tier 2 Mining Issuer and trades under the symbol SHG on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Shield’s mission is to build shareholder value through the discovery and development of high quality precious and base metal resources. Current exploration is based in Québec, one of the most favorable mining jurisdictions in the world. Our exploration work is focused on two areas: graphite in the Buckingham Township area and polymetallic targets in the emerging La Grande Greenstone Belt in the James Bay region of northern Québec.
