Howard Sinclair-Jones, B.Sc., Ph.D., P.Eng

President, CEO and Director

Dr. Sinclair-Jones received a First Class Honours degree from the University of Leeds (1966) and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Aston (1969). He has worked as an independent management consultant since 1992. His varied career includes structural design engineering, university teaching and management of not-for-profit organizations in Canada and the UK. Dr. Sinclair-Jones was the founding Executive Director of the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) from 1982 to 1993. His responsibilities included overall management, financial planning, policy development and liaison with senior levels of government. Dr. Sinclair-Jones has extensive international and cross-cultural experience and speaks fluent Spanish. In 1992 he was awarded the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada Medal.

John M. Siriunas, P.Eng., B.A.Sc., M.A.Sc. (University of Toronto)

Chairman

Mr. Siriunas has been an independent consultant to the mining industry since 1979. He currently serves as President and a Director of Cuervo Resources Inc. Since 1998, Mr. Siriunas has been involved with several public companies, including Hy Lake Gold Inc., Terex Resources Inc. (formerly Zenda Capital Corp.), Aavdex Corporation and Findore Gold Resources Inc. Based on his professional qualifications and experience, Mr. Siriunas is a “qualified person” as defined in National Instrument 43-101 (Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects) of the Canadian Securities. As the designated Qualified Person for Shield Gold under the definition of NI 43-101, content for this website has been prepared under Mr. Siriunas’ supervision.

Paul R. Ankcorn

Chief Financial Officer and Director

Mr. Ankcorn received his Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfred Laurier University in 1978. He is the President and a Director of Remington Resources Inc., a Director of Eloro Resources, the President and a Director of Acme Resources Corp., a Director and Officer of Vendome Resources Corp., and a Director of Champion Minerals, Superior Canadian Resources and Goldtrain Resources. Mr. Ankcorn previously held positions with Northfield Minerals, Eastmain Resources, Southern Star Resources, Aavdex Corporation (now Richmond Minerals), Cuervo Resources and Terex Resources (now Trelawney Resources).

Paul Ferguson

Corporate Secretary and Director

Mr. Ferguson received his Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1981. Mr. Ferguson acts as Corporate Secretary of Shield Gold and his primary role as a director is to contribute to business development from an investor perspective. Mr. Ferguson is an independent investor with extensive experience and a primary focus on the junior mining sector. Prior to his involvement in the junior mining and exploration sector, he worked in various technical and executive capacities for a number of high technology companies. Mr. Ferguson is currently serving as a Director for ProcessUnity Inc., a leading provider of on-demand risk management solutions.

Larry Harrison

Director

Mr. Harrison received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University in 1978. His role in the Corporation is to act as an independent director and advise on the corporation’s activities from an investment and securities compliance perspective. Mr. Harrison has devoted his professional life to institutional and retail restaurant management. Since 2001 he has been the Manager for Dining Services for the California State University. Mr. Harrison has many years experience as a private investor in the junior resources sector and has significant numismatic expertise.
